Wounded Warrior Project sponsored “Aleethia’s Friday Night Dinner” on June 24, 2011 which was held at the Washington Golf & Country Club. Several of the wounded warriors who had attended “Aleethia’s Friday Night Dinners” during 2004-2007 joined the current wounded service members and shared their stories of their healing journey and what the Friday Night Dinners meant to them.
Representatives of the Wounded Warrior Project were able to visit with all the injured service members and provide information on the WWP programs. WWP gift bags filled with useful items were given to the service members.
The Aleethia Foundation gratefully thanks the Wounded Warrior Project for their support and also for all the programs and services WWP provides to severely injured service members.
