CFI/Brooke Army Medical from San Antonio joins Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for “Friday Night Dinner”

A group of 11 warriors from the Center for the Intrepid (“CFI”) at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio joined us for Aleethia’s “Friday Night Dinner.” CFI provides rehabilitation for OIF/OEF casualties who have sustained amputation, burns, or functional limb loss, provides education to DoD and Department of Veteran's Affairs professionals on cutting edge rehabilitation modalities, and promotes research in the fields of Orthopedics, prosthetics and physical/occupational rehabilitation. Through the collaboration of a multi-disciplinary team, CFI provides state-of-the-art amputee care, assisting their patients as they return to the highest levels of physical, psychological and emotional function.

The warriors were in Washington DC to participate in the Army Ten Miler on Sunday, October 20, 2013.
